    Lot of empty seats and they're gonna have another 7500 next season..lot of bare plastic.

    They're just not *that* big a club. Sizeable, but nothing compared to their neighbours; or Arsenal, or Liverpool, or even Newcastle.

    They won the oil lottery, but you can't buy a fanbase.

    I'd add Spurs to that list too. They're very rich but not big.

    Not just fan base, I'd say Spurs were a bigger club based on history.

    Never understood why they chose City to buy. Personally, id have gone for Newcastle. With a top team challenging for silverware, you'd be pulling in crowds matching any others in the league if they expanded st james.

    Well they get 50,000 now. If they were doing well id expect them to be able to compete with utds 76,000 if they expanded the stadium.
