Would have chosen Hassell, until he departed, after that Cyfkwjkwyza. We've a superb player on our hands here.

as said earlier anyone of six or seven from the team could have won it but i'd give it to daggers just to say how well he's come on this season as opposed to last.

I believe Cywka is going to be the player that stands out this season he deserved his man of the match if it wasn't for the January transfer window I'd have numer 19 on the back of my new shirt.

Could have given it to anyone

Solid team performance with everyone playing their part, but if I've got to pick someone out I'll go for Dawson. I've slagged him off before now so it's only right I praise him when he does well. He really put a shift in today.

Any from Hassell (while he was on), That polish lad who I'm not going to attempt to spell, Dawson or Dagnall for his workrate. There were one or two who I thought definitely didn't deserve it but apart from those it could have been anyone.

Re: Could have given it to anyone

Aye, I`ll hold mi hands up on that one, it was his kind of game today backs to the wall buzzing from one to another, although he could have gone same way as Bobby in first few minutes only inches away.

Still his distribution was better and he seemed calm at a time when one or two seemed to panic. Well done Dodger.

    Diary day today

For the first time in 5 years, the people picking the MOTM watched the same game as me!

Cywka was immense. Dawson, Davies and Daggers in the running for effort but without the Pole's touch of quality.
Alwick and Stones also did pleasingly well for what should really be second-string players this term.

Cywka was the deserved MOTM and is only going to get better with more games under his belt. Special mention for the likes of Wiseman, Golbourne, Stones and Dagnall.

Cifka for me but I think Daggers, Bobby and Golbourne had a shout.

It's quite obvious that a la Boro game - the whole team was man o the match!! all the ones that get slagged off - Hassell, Wiseman, Dagnall et al, can all hold their hands up and say "Yes I think I played well today". My MoM before the sending off was Sir Bobby, after that Tommy Pole and Daws (he was out on his feet at the end he'd covered so much ground), and this was the team that Hillcroft have been telling us are fit and together - it showed today. Wait till we get the others back - maybe they won't get a game. I must admit, after the Brighton shambles last week - I feared the worst, but if we can retain the Oakwell fortress performances we could have decent season. You never know, it may just bring the odd fan back too cos the stayaways certainly missed a cracking game. Don't forget we nullified an attack who have scored 8 goals before today - well done the whole of our defence. Only disappointment for me was Marlon Lumpawood - he's got deceptive pace him - he's actually slower than he looks!

Cranie for me. Solid at RB, great assist, didnt look out of place when moved into CM. Dawson close second. Cwyka was superb first half but not as effective 2nd after Bobby's red card. Superb laiker though. To be fair they all worked their sacks off.

in the last few minutes he left their two defenders standing to get a one v one with the keeper from almost a standing start.
seems to me choose how well team plays someone always has to have a go at someone
