So many candidates after today's performance. I thought the entire midfield were terrific. Hammill seems to have got his mojo back, Brownhill and Hourihane ran the game in the middle, but I think I'd give it to Isgrove who was beating men for fun all game. Shame he couldn't cap it off with that elusive goal.

If we don't go up id say we'll have no chance of seeing Isgrove and Brownhill at Oakwell in a red shirt next season

    Promotion and you never know..

Can't believe I'm the first to mention Alfie Mawson! He was outstanding!

Brownhill and Hourihane for me - ran the game after the first 15 minutes and both scored. Isgrove was poor for 43 minutes and then lo and behold in the 44th managed to not fall over at the end of one of his runs and got all the way to the their keeper to set up Sam. For 35 minutes he was then much better than usual and that says a lot coming from me :)

It was his shot that Winnall tapped in and he was fouled for Brownhill's free kick.

Indeed but 0 goals and 3 assists in 20 odd games is poor for an attacking player

Isgrove is the spark for a lot of the chances we create. He sets the tempo. When Isgrove doesn't play or isn't at his best the team often look flat.

    I agree.

He just needs to work hard on his final action and he will be a top player.

Well I know who it wasn't - and that is Perkins. To say he is their player of the season, I thought he was *****.

First half Roberst and Mawson were outstanding, that's when we needed them to be as Wigan were pressing and looked quick and strong, second half the more creative players came into their own and we were on top great performance all round, lets hope we can continue this for the next 3 games, COYR

Isgrove or Hourihane. Though no one had a bad game at all. Thought Mawson & Roberts were superb.
