I don,t get why Brentford treated it after the game as if they had won the cup all they had done is beat Man Utd don,t get all the gloating.why not just go off as if it,s a normal game.
Historically, it isn't though is it? Imagine a few years ago where Brentford were compared to manchester united. On top of that, Brentford fans have been getting a load of stick from Man Utd fans about Eriksen. I'd revel in it too. 4-0 aswell. Incredible.
Don’t get me wrong I,m glad they stuffed them but for me it kind of demeans Brentford who we are a little club and we,ve just beat the mighty Man Utd.
I see it as the other way around, how far they've come to be trouncing one of the biggest teams in the world 4-0 mate. A lot of them had them favourites to go down too. Just imagine if it were us doing that instead of languishing in league one after a dreadful season
If we were ever good enough to be in Brentford’s position I’d want celebrate with the players like their fans were able to! Unfortunately we seem a world away at present and some of our fans would probably be on the pitch.
I never really get why people hate Manchester United so much. Chelsea, with their billionaire owner taking them from mediocrity to domination. Man city, with their billionaire owner taking them from mediocrity to domination. Even Brentford who have bought their way to the premier league with over £200m of losses in recent years and spending 3 times their entire income on player wages alone before any transfer fees paid or other operating costs are even factored. Man United though, didn't they get the majority of their success by employing a brilliant manager and bringing through the most successful youth team in English football which allowed their budget to grow massively?

No issue with the club itself. Just a lot of the fans I don't care for. But I'm the same for all these elite clubs who buy their success. Although they're beyond repair it seems. Even spending a billion, yes billion on football players, they can't pull them out of their post-fergie slump! I remember a few years back a coach picked Man utd fans up in Featherstone and i was walking by with my Barnsley shirt on ready for the game. I got some wonderful stuff shouted at me, they were in shock when i got on the coach and called em glory hunters and a few other things. Strangely iam still going to Barnsley but that coach with its glory hunters don't go now, I wonder why lol. I hope they get relegated.
I wouldn’t say I hate them but I have a disliking for them. There’s “fans” at work who probably haven’t been to Manchester in the past 5 years, let alone Old Trafford. I can’t imagine being a fan of a team and never actually going to watch said team.
I'm struggling to revel in it that much when we're in just about our lowest league position in 40 odd years.

Weirdly when I was a kid there used to be quite a few man utd fans like that but at work I can't think of a single one. We've got Liverpool fans, man city fans, arsenal fans and I think possibly a Chelsea fan plus lots of Rotherham, Sheffield Wednesday, United, Barnsley and Leeds fans but I can't think of a single Manchester United fan.
