Fergie was spot on in getting rid in my opinion. If it caused alot of unrest in the dressing room with what Keane had said then what's the options? You ship out 4 or 5 players, or you ship out one who only has 1 or 2 seasons left.

yep did great things there and the fans love him. though his time had come. and for a captain to be having a go at players publicly, id never have played with him again. As a man he just comes across as the kind of guy you would want to hit. personaly i would hit him, id hold him so mick mccarthy could give him a slap!(

I understand Keane because he wants the team to win everything and win every game. He didnt think players such as Darren Fletcher were good enough to be playing for Utd and i agree. I think he prefered having Beckham in his team, not Darren Fletcher.

 

I don't think Fletcher is good enough either but it isn't or wasn't Keane's place to be saying that. That is two teams that he has tried to take over and in both cases the manager has for want of better words "sacked" him. Do you think he is smart enough to realise that he isn't that good anymore and therefore is dispensable.

 

Apparantley 40 clubs want him. I thought he was still good enough for United despite his age. But things like that should stay in the dressing room.
