:( Daddy bailing junior out yet again. Are you allowed to manage two clubs at the same time? :(

Hardly surprising, is it? Think the FA should monitor it tbh - but they won't.

I don't blame him and I would do the same for my lad too but I agree with jptyke that this should be stopped through FA and football league rules.

Didnt he try that at Preston - and it didnt work - hopefully he will be as sucessfull with this approach as he was there. Isnt there a limit of how many loan players you can have from one club?
I might be wrong but I have a feeling it might be 4

Not sure if it really matters if it's your son on your best friend - outcome is still the same.

Isn't it one in the Premier League? That's why Liverpool had to release Joe Cole from his contract so he could go to West Ham because they already had Andy Carroll I think

    Disagree.

It's only the same as two managers having a strong business relationship.....they are likely to do more business together.

I would doubt whether FA rules include anything about Father/Son loan transactions!

How can the FA stop it though? Fergie Jnr could just say he likes the player, Sir Alex says he wants the player to go to Peterborough, the FA can't stop it. The FA cannot effectively prevent Peterborough signing Man Utd players. It's annoying but at the same time, how many other clubs benefit from the manager knowing someone else higher up, I bet a lot do.

Unless the likes of RVP, Rooney, Vidic and Giggs turn up at London Road I don't think we've much to worry about
