What’s the difference?

Hargreaves to Man U and Ronaldo to Real Madrid?

With Man U there are plenty of other examples and some which involve tapping up.

Man U, surely the most hypocritical club around.

It is rather amusing isnt it

Poor Sir Alex - to realise that Man U are not actually the biggest club in the world

Personally I think Real and Ronaldo are in the wrong but it really isnt as if Man U are squeaky clean here is it

Personally I think that Roninho is exactly the same player as Ronaldo and if they can get 50 mil plus Robinho then that would be a good deal.

Ronaldinho also fully fit again after struggling for a year and half. Another player who due to a poor season last year would come cheap and is without doubt another level to Ronaldo. He wasn’t that bad last year but he was playing at only 60% which doesn’t help.

Your right though. Fergie does think they are the only team around.

How much spanish football have you watched?
Robinho isn't half the player of C Ronaldo,

I can't understand people who say about Ronaldo "he's over hyped and isn't that good" for god's sake the guy scored 42 goals from the right wing

Their forum makes for amusing reading

    Red Cafe its called.

They have a thread that is about 300 pages long on Ronaldo, which evolves from defending him to calling him a greasy cheating (insert c-bomb here) as this summer's merry tale has gone on. I love a bit of Schadenfreude, especially at the expense of that lot.

I watch more than enough Spanish Football to know that Robinho has just as many tricks as Ronaldo, but actually can get the netter of a decent full back and is a quality player.

I don’t watch Man U all that often but when I do I don’t see the fuss with Ronaldo. I don’t regularly watch him up against the Bolton of the league but do occasionally watch when they play say a top 4 team. The amount of times he runs into trouble and is easily dealt with is quite often.

Yes he’s a good player, but best in the world, no.

How did Ronaldo do against Germany? Up against a solid left back you hardly noticed he was on the pitch.

Trust me; Ronaldo won’t score that many goals again. Take out the top 4 teams and we have a poor league. Simple as that. Put him against a man marker or a zonal defensive system like they use in Spain and he isn’t the same player.

Just my opinion, and I think that it’s backed by his stats.

Just read this on the BBC site ,

United's threat to let Ronaldo 'rot' in the stands can't happen as Fifa rules state players can rip up their contracts if they don't play a certain amount of games.

    That is surely utter ******!!!

Ronaldo is a fantastic player, absolutely world class. He will shine for Madrid, no doubt in my mind.
