Sure this has already been discussed on here, but why didn't the West Stand get sold out to ManU a la any derby with Sheffield team? The club made enough effort to cash in elsewhere (and I don't blame them). was it security costs?
They were worried about the Man Utd fans causing thousands of pounds worth of improvements to the West Stand bogs.
Now now Have you been in them recently - had a face lift a month or so ago now have a roof and washbasin and even been painted Its just not the same
RE: Now now A Roof? Kinell really? 100 years of tradition gone just like that. Is the gloryhole still there (the missing brick)? Have they sorted the drainage or so you still take your wellies if expecting a decent crowd? Like Micky Finn's comment about Man U fans causing "thousands of pounds worth of improvements". Class
but, the big question..... ...is it yet possible (I'm talking theoretically of course, in cases of dire emergency / extreme excitement) to have anything other than a pee there?
RE: but, the big question..... Yes, you have to go in the unisex portaloos and risk them wobbling over and being trapped in there all afternoon. Only we are brave enough so far. Never seen anyone else go near them. Which is fine as there's no queue.
