Usually a fiery affair, with sendings off and controversy.Man U scoring loads, but letting some in, Liverpool with the talented but odious Suarez.
Don't like either club, but 2-1 Man U

I used to "like" Liverpool, especially when Hyypiä and Litmanen played there. I was quite happy when they won the Champions League and everything, and I always wanted them to do well.
Then they dumped Litmanen like a pairless sock, which was a big blow for me as he has always been a bit of a hero of mine. A few years later Benitez treated Hyypiä like shit during his last season at the club, I've enjoyed seeing how fragile Liverpool's defence has been ever since. Hyypiä is a manager at Bayer Leverkusen now and has been a big success so far, I hope that he never returns to Liverpool.

And of course, some time between those two incidents, we played against them in the FA Cup and I got some abuse from some of my Liverpool supporting friends who kept telling me how it was totally unfair that won, and it wouldn't even have been possible if some of their players hadn't been injured (when I told them that we had some injuries too, it didn't matter because "all our players are shit anyway"), and they hadn't been playing their reserve team against us etc etc blah blah blah... Their fans still seem to think that they've got some divine right to be the best club in the world, so watching them sink into mid-table mediocrity lately has been quite awesome.

So yeah, I no longer like Liverpool, in fact every season I seem to like them less and less. Kenny Dalglish turned out to be a total idiot, and the final straw for me was when they signed the cheating racist (Luis Suarez), and the whole club handled the whole racism incident in a totally disgusting way. I'm also annoyed at how most of the Liverpool fans only use the whole "Justice for the 96" thing to score sympathy points and to make their rivals look bad, sometimes I feel like the ones who are the most disrespectful towards "the 96" are the Liverpool fans themselves.

I can't stand Man Utd either, but I hope that they beat Liverpool today. A 7-0 trashing would be nice.
