Wimbledon H Walsall H Coventry A Plymouth H Shrewsbury A Donny H Wycombe A Luton H Oxford A Pompey A Bristol A So, not a single bloody win all season. Coventry and especially Wycombe was truly awful. God knows how we got promoted but, we did. Frankly though, I’d settle for that every year providing the club moves forward.
I didn’t think Coventry away was amongst our few poor performances. It was our first defeat, but we created enough chances to have won comfortably. Jacob Brown could’ve had a hatrick and Moncur spurned a great chance when he slipped just as he was shooting.
Only seen us lose once this season. And that was at Blackpool in the cup. So the sessions before and afterwards more than made up for it.
I saw a few more wins. However, I missed decent games against Peterborough, Scunthorpe, Bradford and Fleetwood due to being away and other commitments.
I did 11 ga mes too, more away than home thanks to Northern Fail, 7 wins 2 draws 2 defeats Wimbledon home draw Peterborough away win Shrewsbury away defeat (worst performance ever til Burton away) Blackpool away win Bradford City home win Southend away win (FA Cup) Gillingham away win Portsmouth away draw Walsall away win Burton away defeat (worst performance of season) Blackpool home win See what next season brings for me, shift work depends where I can get, hopefully 12 plus games
