is a proper numpty. knows nowt about the job. its a customer based business and she is often rude when its uncalled for. she treats staff like rubbish and ive had enough. should i a) get our lass to chin her? b) stick it out til she runs the place into the ground and collect my redundo c) leave now
not option b), it's not like the miners got If the place goes tits up and you are made redundant compulory redundancy payments are wnak; I got offered the legal minimum, <£7K for 20 years service. /poo
Why not talk to her sternly, like a mature adult? If that fails to put her in her place, then go to your HR manager and/or UNION representative.
mmm. Also, you could pretend that you heard something on the radio about her and you're going to tell everyone. You know, like a mature adult and that.
A written complaint to her manager would be the correct way forward, once you've done that they have to take some formal action, if they don't you can leave then claim constructive dismissal because they failed to act on a grievance.
Having said all that if you work for my company you can pi$$ off you troublecauser.

If she's that bad Then the old saying applies 'Give her enough rope and she'll hang herself' The powers that be will soon cotton on to her failings and as long as your not party to her bad practices, your position will improve. One step on the ladder, so to speak, know what I mean. ff ff ff
be very careful what you say if anything... i was in a very similar situation recently... i said something about it and to the next boss up so to speak... i is now signing on!
Have to have a word with my manager today to tell her I'm applying for a transfer - she's not going to be happy.
