Missed out on John Gregory after saturday think what he could of done for us, have we missed our man or is there someone better
John Sheridan Is Still My Number One Choice....... as he is a cheap option but at the same time not a unemployed bum. He's worked wonders on no money at Oldham due to Ronnie spending it all. He brings kids through the academy and taken Oldham to 3rd in the league.
RE: John Sheridan Is Still My Number One Choice....... Why does Dreamboy support The Mighty Reds, but love everything Oldham?? Why noy just follow them??
Yep - Danny for me too. Still a manager who is young an dplenty of time left in the game. Not one gone stale like a lot of other candidates mentioned.
RE: Yep - Danny for me too. Driving towards Malton the other day listening to Simon Daveys interview on Radio Sheffield, the radio was switching to Radio Cleveland as the reception got worse but Danny was being interviewed on Radio Cleveland, what a shining light he is,heres a manager who does a great job in selling his club,7 or 8 wins on the trot for Hartlepool fantastic, yes he got the sack at Wednesday everybody did including Paul Jewell who has done a great job at Wigan,I would like to see Danny back at Oakwell but I cant see it somehow,I think it might be Blackwell or maybe Brian Little or even Dave Penny(I couldnt turn Barnsley down being a Championship club).Good Luck to whoever is chosen anyway, just hope its not Nigel Worthington who totally lost my repect for him in a ball throwing incident whilst at Blackpool. It would be nice if the Trundle rumours were true he WOULD get us out of trouble and just think of the shirt sales,a bums on seats signing that would be,he is paid image rights at Swansea though(they even sell a Lee Trundle doll) and is scoring goals so that might not come off, lets wait and see.
Like everyone else that comes to Barnsley that has done well somewhere else will become a flop! Wont go jack all!
RE: John Sheridan Is Still My Number One Choice....... I only like Chris Taylor and Andy Liddell both for obvious reasons. Plus i actually wanted Rotherham to beat them the other day. I just think John Sheridan ticks all the boxes that would make him a good choice. However i can see why some wouldn't like him due to the Sheffield connection.
No thanks. I'm a fan, but I doubt he could work a miracle again. Besides, he did sod all with Bristol, who are the Chelsea of the lower divisions. Time to look elsewhere.
