Very very poor but at the moment I disagree. He needs backing for two windows and if he is and we're still producing kak then Id agree.

Can't see how it makes sense to sack the manager when we are still in a playoff spot despite what most on here (and probably in the ground today) consider to be a well below par squad. If he were a truly bad manager/coach, I reckon we'd be in a relegation battle now.

    My opinion.

What’s our salary budget relative to the rest of the league? That will tell us if he’s performing above below or on par.

What backing has he had? Also if we sack the head coach and his staff with substantial pay offs then where's the money for transfers?

We haven’t got any money it’s been rammed down our throats for months so they’ll be no sacking imo

Can’t see why tbh, look at last week, he picked a side that created chance after chance only to chuck them away. That’s not the managers fault!
I don’t agree with all he does but for me the blame lies firmly at the feet of recruitment and the board.
All Clarke can do is rotate a squad that has very little variety , no real pace or trickery with too many one paced players , and a strike force that don’t strike.
I definitely think Roberts needs dropping for one though too many attackers either leave him easily or he just seems to ignore them,

We’ve just won 4 in a row, beating a couple of decent teams, lost at Bristol Rovers where we should have had about 5 goals before their first and then lost today.

Now today was incredibly poor but seems a tad knee jerk to me.

Mental to sack him now. What happened to the era of football where we have managers 2-3 windows before judging? I could understand if we were disastrous and below midtable but we are in the play offs

Player for player should we be losing at home to Stevenage without a shot on goal? Not wanting to get all Wednesday but come on, he can’t get these players to compete against Stevenage? Is that really a recruitment issue?

    well it is for me.
I fully expected it to be hard today, they keep loads of clean sheets and our forwards are dire.

According to Capology we're 14th highest on wages....I have no idea if it's accurate or not.

That’s wild if true, we are operating the 14th highest wages, with the 6th highest home attendance and are making a huge loss, you have to question what the other teams are running on?? I know you can discount the top 4, we know they’re spending way beyond their operating income, but everyone else must be as well? Also Posh have the lowest wage bill in the league? Absolutely wild. I’ll take it back, if that’s the case I guess we’re over performing then!

The head coach is honest. He says it as he sees it. Which in fairness is pretty much like the majority of the fans see it. When are the fans going to aim their blame on the playing staff? Do we think the head coach sent them out to play that badly today? I feel for the bloke. You can sense that he wants the best for the club. The board need to back him within the next week or so. If they give him the tools to do his job, and he leaves us short, then quite rightly he's open to criticism. Let's see what happens!

Clarke not to blame for me infact he deserves a medal if he gets this lot to stay in the playoffs till the end of season.
