    Good let him carry on quietly doing the business. Championship survival is better than any manager of the month award IMO

    I've always thought that having nominations for manager of the month is a waste of time anyway, as it always goes to the manager of the team who won most points. Leicester won 4 out of 4, whereas no other team did. So Pearson will win it, guaranteed. The award takes nothing else into consideration, such as the importance of the victories, the relative constraints each manager is managing under, the relative inexperience of managers, injury problems, etc, etc. It's a stupid award and the nominations are a waste of everybody's time. They may as well have nominations for the golden boot at the end of the season before giving the award to the player who scored the most goals.

    It's all supposed to be results based I'm afraid but even then Flicker's streets ahead of Poyet who only got in on the Newcastle result imho!

    Seriously, why do any of you care? The manager of the month curse is infamous. We know the job he's doing, why is anything else important? It's just an unwanted distraction as far as I'm concerned.

    6 wins and a draw from last 7 games since 5th Jan. Four of those away games. That's better than manager of the month. Superb start by Flicker and great effort by all the players

    You know what happens when a manager gets that award though, form declines. Look at Hull after Bruce got it, didn't win for 4 games.
