i always said sacking bassett was ridiculous,we've gone down hill ever since.

 

Everyone said Hendrie was not up to it, maybe he should have been given more time looking at that !!

 

You need a Duckworth/Lewis kind of system if you look at managers records other than in the second tier.

yep,it certainly was.

 

That's surprised me a little, if I'm reading it correctly on my phone, as his PPG puts him roughly in the middle of all the managers since Danny's first stint, I imagined him being much worse.

 

If you compare Johnsons record with Thordarson's who both managed in the third tier it puts it into perspective.
Also Thordarson operated without any financial input.
