Looks like there's a good chance John Terry will be playing against us in a few weeks....... http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/spo...City-line-up-pound45m-bid-for-John-Terry.html Shame same can't be said for Eto'o....... http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/spo...-pound200000-a-week-to-quit-the-Nou-Camp.html
I think he should go there personally. At Chelsea he's achieved everything possible apart from the champions league anyway. At Manchester City he can be remembered for making an average side one of the top sides in the country, get one last massive payday and he would be even more the star at City than he already is at Chelsea.
...as if we needed any further proof? Money talks, and footballers, barring a handful of rare examples, are mercenary b*stards with no concept of loyalty.
Remember Football is not 'A Job for Life' Does anybody think that 'loyalty' is an issue when the difference is 150 grand a week I know its obscene but its fact. In 5 years time he will be 'past it' and can you see Chelsea keeping him on because he is a loyal employee, will they heck.
Agreed. Joining Chelsea won't make him unloyal. Having loyalty doesn't mean you have to stay at the same club forever. He might fancy a change after being at Chelsea for so long. Even if he does move he will always be a Chelsea legend. They would be stupid to turn down 45 million for a player heading towards 30 as well.
dinner on the table, aint got a prayer till that goes off lass , and dont tell me to go cook it, Sunday is the one day of the week that she cooks
RE: dinner on the table, Hee hee, I take it she's glued to the screen then, if I was you I would have had another pint or two until it was over.
</p> Why? Because of a nothing article in the news of the world? Not exactly the most reliable of sources, but even so, nothing in the article suggests he actually wants to leave.</p> Personally I'd be astonished if he goes to Man City </p>
***** Or Not If they meet Chelsea's valuation of the player & pay him 300k a week chances are he'd sign
Me too mate Proves he's only interested in the money if he goes there. He's the sort though just to be doing this for a bit of publicity. I cannot for the life in me see why he'd go there.
Well certainly at the moment Man City would be a MASSIVE step backward. With Chelsea he's regularly competing for all major trophies, whereas at City he wouldn't, at least not for a season or two.</p> I've always got the impression Terry loves Chelsea and Chelsea loves John Terry, and while, like Gaz said, money does talk, I don't think he'd jump ship to join City. </p>
