Newcastle ... Been there three times on a night out and I can honestly say that whilst it wasn't bad I really didn't see owt there to rave about. No different from a night out in any town centre as far as I was concerned.
Salford Quays, Deansgate Locks, stop at The Lowry. But the City is inhabited by gayboys and thieves though.
Depends what you want. Taking a lady who you want to impress or just want to pretend to be a 10 bob millionaire then Hilton and Deansgate Locks are the place. Want interesting nightlife and aren't a massive homophobe then get yourself onto Canal Street. If you are cool and trendy try the Quartier du Nord. If you are even cooler and bohemian try the grungy outer limits of the Northern Quarter. Something for everyone, especially Dirk. For food theres the best Chinatown in the UK, Armenian, Korean, British (Mr Thomas Chop House is the dogs), Japanese, Parthian, Mycenean, Ionian and Mesopotamian to name but a few. It is full of *** hags and thieves though, but thats its charm.
Hilton!!! Very swanky! Splashing thae cash! Manchester is decent as there is something for everyone! Although I do think you get a lot more people who are what I call 'poncy' you know think they are footballers types!! If you staying at the Hilton then I would suggest Deansgate. Plenty of fitties in the Printworks too if you looking for some totty! If you are homosexual obviously there is the gay village!
Heyup! We went to Manchester 2 weeks back to celebrate a mates 21st birthday! Stayed in a travel lodge tho. (only place they'd let 18 lads in) The night/manchester was amazing. I can only remember the names of two places, Tiger Bar and Pure Nightclub, i don't like nightclub music normally but this place was very different, DJ played abit of everything that he mess about with, worked well! The pubs are very classy aswell which is a change frum a night in tarn... and the females (L) oreit to look at! But... Bouncers are very strict with ID. If you don't look 25 i'd take it. We all got asked. They'll not let any big groups in and if theres over a certain number of lads already in the pub they'll turn you away. We got split up all over manchester in 4's and 6's because of the bouncers. They came out with everything. " too many lads in, sorry " " not tonight lads " " couples only tonight sorry lads " It was shocking at times, but its a reyt neet!
You have to catch Canal street and the surrounded streets! An absolute must i YOU are looking for a ggod night.
Well has everyone has said mate there is wide range of places you can go to. Some bargain basement cheap places where you could spend less than a night out round town. Some swanky joints you be paying over £4 per pint!!! But bearing in mid you are going to sky scraper swank hotel I reckon you will need plenty of quids for your night!!
I forgot to add its quite expensive. I like to drink pints and they average at about £3.20. I did pay near on £4 for a stella in one bar. I spent about £140 for a afternoon/night out! Food, drinks, travel lodge, petrol etc... Well worth it tho - reyt laugh!
RE: Newcastle ... true but i still think that i is the best place i have persoanlly been for a night out, other may not agree, we all have our opinions.
