    What "hard" opposition would you like them to have then?

    Given that all the Continental champions were in it!
    They played the South American champions.


    And they are World Champions in the same way that they are called European Champions for winning the Champions League.

    Thing is they can only beat the opposition that are in front of them, not their fault the two teams they Played we're not in Man United's league, but in saying that they aint many teams in the world as proved by them that are or anywhere near them, maybe apart from Barcelona / Chelsea....

    Chuffed for them, oh and English football in general for their Win....

    Shame Boca Juniors didnt win it would have been a cracking final, saying that Gamba Osaka had a good go in the first game!

    Yes they are.......

    They are the world champions of CLUB football, The winners of the world cup are the world champions of INTERNATIONAL football. Just like world champions of Rugby,Scrabble, rally driving, snooker etc
