Who the **** was that referee tonight, fergusons nephew! How he didn't award Fulham a penalty towards end of game was a joke, same old same old, a referee shy of a pair of conkers when it comes to awarding a penalty to an away team....joke
Totally agree a stone Waller even before the replay was shown. I wonder how many points a season scum actually win from shocking referee decisions because their scared of fergie? Embarrassing to English football that a jock can influence games/seasons so much!!
I've said it before that I can deal with referee's who make honest mistakes due to positioning, the pace of the game or something else but what I can't deal with is lack of bottle, when referees appear to make (or not make) a decision based on who the team is. IMO this is rife in the game and these referees are bordering on cheating.
I've just seen the SSN coverage has anyone else seen the footage of Michael Oliver laughing in Martin Jol's face at the final whistle?
Fergie & players were quite honest to say that a penalty might well have been given. It's the Ref's fault. You are not defending any other legitimate penalty claim that happened this week, just using it to have a pop at United because they are odds on to win the league. It was now or never for City and it's starting to look like never. You're trying to make a nationalist issue out of it because City are generally more disliked than United and you want a bit of sympathy. I'm not a particularly a fan of United but tell it like it is. Anti-English? Is that why he was offered and accepted a Knighthood? Arise Sir Bobby Mancini? More chance of winning the league!
So I'm the only person in the thread having a pop at the Ref or United am I? Because its funny how you only picked my post out.
