    He's a very good player but doesn't fit in with the plan.
    Almost 30 years old and would definitely have little re-sale value. Is it a loan or permanent......?

    Where's this rumour from mate? Looks good when I've seen him, doesn't seem to fit into our recruitment policy though so would be a surprising move.

    Agree my first thought was he doesn't fit the policy so only a loan would make sense.

    Would be good although I can't see it happening. I expect we will loan the lad from Liverpool and sign a winger or a striker permanent. Can't see us bringing 2 loanees in we already have jones,kent,armstrong,Janko and the lad Randell will make it 5 that's enough.

    Is this a throw back to at least five years ago? We were linked then with a move for him. I cannot see how he would fit into our scheme of things and our policy on signings, unless he was coming as player-coach. An agent starting the old stalking-horse, 'If Barnsley can afford him, why can't we?' sort of thing, just to see if his agent can raise any interest. Good player, but not for us.
