we r we moaning, u couldnt av asked 4 a better start. yes, we lost v cardiff but 2 wins from 3!!! take that any day
Because they love to moan, they always think they are better then the manager... I just laugh at them Best position we've been in for 6 years and those who dont like it can go and support Chelsea
Be great that............if the debate was about that.........but its not He scored 2.........well done But thats not the point This is the point Ritchie on Radio Sheffield said (summert like this) ......we have got to start taking the chances we are creating because when we come across better teams we will not get many chances and the chances we do get have got to produce goals. I didn't go to Colchester But If you read the match report on the official site you can see who Ritchie is talking about. Now its great that he scored 2 and its fooooking wonderful we are in 8th but that dosent get away from the fact that Richards is missing a boat load of chances against weaker defences And one things for sure - he will only get a single or very few chances against stronger teams In other words - he is not quite ready for this division So we need someone older who can teach him how to be a better striker Ritchie was trying for Windass last season to do just this I think Shipperley would and another (maybe Pesci) would go some way to keepimng us near the top of this division. The other peices of the zigsaw are... Back up keeper Two cover centre halves
RE: Be great that............if the debate was about that.........but its not your recommending we sign old has beens, wouldn,t sign either of em!
Thats it Nudger Now you do have a point! Yes, he does miss alot of chances and he'll hopefully learn to put them all away. But every striker miss chances, not just Richards, even Ships does...
RE: Be great that............if the debate was about that.........but its not well said - lets not forget one of his 2 goals hit him and went in from a foot out!!
Old has beens What about someone even older like Teddy sherringham Don't suppose you would slam the door in his face Shipperley and Pesci would be a couple of older heads in a very young team We need older heads not just at the front but in central defence as well I'm not saying we need to get shut of members of the current squad but we need to strengthen the squad with older (near sell by date players) that can bring the young lads on At the moment Richards and Nardia are not good enough to start a match in this league But i would have them as subs
Richards "not good enough to start a game in this league" based on what evidence??? He has scored in the last two game and set up Mcindoe's goal against Hull. Your argument clearly does not fit the facts.
RE: Be great that............if the debate was about that.........but its not It's called been in the right place at the right time. Gary Lineker made a career out of it. It's all about the timing of your run.
RE: Be great that............if the debate was about that.........but its not Does it matter how it goes in as long as it does? Richards missed one easy chance against Cardiff but otherwise had a decent game, missed a couple against Hull but set up the equalizer and SCORED and SCORED a cracking header against Colchester. Get off his back and support him FFS!!!
Well yes ...at the moment, but you expect that sort of misleading statistic at this stage of the season. Bet that will not be the case by xmas!
But how can you teach someone to finish the strikers you are talking Young Nudger are hardly prolific are they? Against better opposition who is to say he'll not score becasue he has missed a few chances in early season games when players are still finding their rythem, as long as we create chances that is all that matters, he can't do wrong for right the poor lad, could score 20 this year and still get slated for missing chances!
