RE: Shows how we traet people at Oakwell Dont understand these people that say he has been trated shabbily! This is football and is a cut throat business. If Chelsea came in for Marc Richards Im sure he would be asking to leave. I personally would keep Marc Richards over Nardi any day of the week and I do like his attitude but he is contracted to BFC so he should display the right attitude. Nardi on the other hand has ability but has missed more chances than he has scored this season and doesnt have the right sort of attitude.
If Nardy was playing Battleships ... ... he'd only need the little white pegs. Do you think he's actually looked like scoring lately? He's made Richards look more deadly than a Doug Ellis / Cobra hybrid.
RE: Shows how we traet people at Oakwell In the context that Richards has been used as a makeweight in a deal to get a player in who's never laiked above Dearne League 2 standard who then gave us a fck off tablet, I'd say Richards is behaving well above the standards some others may show.
Managing people is tricky, not everyone can do it, irrespective of qualifications on paper.

Marc Richards promoting the Fun Day today........What !!! If Marc Richards did what he was paid to do, that is to say, hitting the back of the net instead of missing chance after chance Then that is when he would be promoting a fun day Until then........Marc Richards + Barnsley FC............= un-Fun day
I don't rate you and you have no future here, but could you just play you heart out for me for a couple of weeks before I dump you. Unusual motivational technique.

RE: "has missed more chances than he has scored this season" Not comparing his chances ratio, just he missed 3 against MK Dons 2 at Wednesday. He isnt as good as some people suggest IMHO. Richards has also missed some chances ie Cardiff at home, Derby away etc but he has scored 6 goals compared to Nardis 2.
I wish you'd stop spouting garbage on something you know nothing about We offered straight cash for Constantine. They wouldnt deal without Richards. We had already turned down a bid from Carlisle for Richards the previous week, cos we didnt want to sell him. Marc Richards is from the Midlands, when Port Vales interest was mentioned to him, he wanted to talk to them. They got nowhere near agreeing terms, and he came back. He's been told by the manager he is part of his plans. Now stop peddling your negative ***** and try supporting your club, or fck off altogether.
All players have to do some promotional work in their local communities. It is usually 3 or 4 days a year. Nothing special about it at all, just a small part of their contract.
