13 league starts 6 goals. Almost 1 in 2 not bad by anyones standards. Starts in all competitions 18, goals 6. Still a decent ratio 1 in 3. Out of his 6 goals 5 of them have got us points. Goal at Southend got us a point, goal against Tranmere was the winner, he scored the third against Scunny so effectively the winner, Hartlepool pen helped earn us a point, goal on saturday again the winner! The only goal he's scored that hasn't been the winner or equaliser got us back in the game against Blackpool. Without his goals we would have been 8 points worse off and level on points with lowly Doncaster! So basically what i'm trying to say is lay off him and get behind the team for f@cks sake!
Richards is a fine prospect for Barnsleyfc, his knockers on this board know little about the great game. O.K he as missed a few, but so have the other strikers in the team. I've watched him closely and his work-rate is up there with Burns. He holds the ball up well, and he wins his fair share of headers. Whats letting him down at the moment is his distribution, but he will get better, and so will most of the young players in the squad. And has for Windass, i hope we get him. It's like an old womaniser going into the pub and having a audience of young hand pullers sat round him. Telling is captivating throng how many women he as sh*gged during his lifetime of persuit. Mouths drooling wide open as he goes into more and more intimate details of the pleasures a woman can give. That's the case with Windass, i hope he dosn't go bragging about the women he as scored with but the goals he as scored and the technique, the craft, the influence his presence can have on a young and naive forwards. Playing with him will make them better players. Richie knows this.

6 goals in 13 starts is good enough for me. Of course Bobbys goal on saturday counts you numpty but as i said before Richards goal was the one that put us in front and counts as the winner.
