Typically Barnsley fans. All season he has been slagged off as not being good enough, then now he is leaving, everybody says how hard a worker he was.

he isn't good enough, was never good enough.

Had one decent game at forest.

Rest of his goals easier to score than miss.

Might have been a nice bloke, but frankly I'm having a drink tonight knowing we've got at least something for the fecking donkey.

 

I've never slagged off Marc

If I was going to say anything negative about him I would've said it to his face. He was a grafter, not really a goal scorer, but he always gave 100% for the team.

Sad to see him go, but wish him all the best for the future.

You're probably right...he wasn't good enough. BUT

unlike many we've had ove the years, he always gave 100%, and for thatI will always be thankful to him, as well as the fact he scored some important goals. Yes he wasn't the greatest striker we've ever had, but he always put the effort in. I'd sooner have him than a so called proven goalscorer who won't put the effort in when the going gets tough
