    Didnt he say he was great in the air but not that good with his feet? I know it was only a friendly last night against a lower end side but i thought his foot work was pretty decent for a center back.

    Think he's looked ok in both games. Won every header and reads the game well. Also I like how he carries the ball into midfield later in the game yesterday to try to get a win and showing urgency.

    Aye it was good to see, he played very well.

    Not keen on Mawson playing that holding role mind, he looks a great player but hes not a holding midfielder.

    reckon he could play it if we're short on numbers/ injuries but i wouldnt want him there properly

    I work with a lad who watches Halifax regularly, and he says he is seriously good in the air, AND also has a secret weapon with a HUGE long throw in. He says that if given the opportunity to develop, and the time to do so, he'll be a good player for us.
