    Anyone know which championship club asked about him yesterday?

    I don't know anything at all.

    But I said to my mate last night I bet it was Huddersfield:

    1) Roberts isn't yet good enough for a top-half Championship club, and Huddersfield are definitely not one of those;

    2) They are cashed-up from selling Butterfield;

    3) Had Roberts left, he would not have had to move house.

    A lot of assumptions there, but it made sense to me.

    Should have taken the plunge while they had the chance.

    If it was Rotherham or hudds he would be joining for a relegation scrap this season would be hard work for lad. Another season or two and think he will be in a better position than that with or without us. Hard to belive he had never played professional football until this season.

    Adding onto this.. how much do you rate him? He's not a million pound player (yet) but he's certainly worth over 500-600k with him being part of our squad, barring last night. Hope he continues form and he gets some more interest! Will be interesting.

    Yeah not a million pound player as of yet but can see him playing championship football with or without us reminds me of De zuew. Think he signed a three year deal if he carries on like he started I'm sure he will get some more clubs interested in him.

    But how long a contract did he sign? I'm sure it was 3 years. I reckon we'd get much closer to a million than half for him.

    Birmingham, asked the question during the Townsend deal, would be my guess.

    Barnsley Chronicle will probably find out for friday. Every team in the country would love someone who makes a throw in more of a free kick :)

    depends on where you're at as a team dunnit. if we get promoted, he'll finish the season a £1m player. if we don't, probably half that at best. either way, we've played an absolute blinder digging him out from non-league.

    I like him. Good promising player. Our defence isn't exactly watertight though is it? Looking forward to his development with us this season and beyond.

    far from watertight. it's just good to finally have a big hard ba$tard who wins absolutely everything in the air, and is actually pretty swift on the deck as well. compare him to jim mcnulty or big jean, for example. i think he can only get better.

    makes me wonder where lewis's gonna fit in though. alfie and marc are shaping up to be the first choice centre halves for me. and i don't see lewin as a natural full back. so it's either square pegs in round holes, or 3 at the back..
