But seriously Bent is good Championship striker and similar age/height/ability to Gray I'd certainly take a look at him.....

Gary McSheffrey another good player at this level but has history of injuries, and I doubt we would get both..... plus with Halfredson I wonder if we need him, would much prefer a defender.... Still think we should go for Michael Ball former Man City lad and Darren Ward from Wolves (transfer listed along with Neill Collins another good defender) get em signed up now and in the team for Saturday.

Championship quality players signed by Simon Davey is a very small percentage. We would have a better chance of signing either if they were foreign or from the lower leagues.

i always thought you were pretty level headed and realistic, but obviously thats not the case. I know sd isn't doing no one no favours, but i bet a pound to a penny, that apart from the initial outlay to save the club, pc hasn't spent nowt. These are players we can dream about and that's all, no way will he pay for those (hoping he reads this and proves me wrong, go on i dare you)
