Marine A

Can anybody explain why the Marine who has been convicted of murder is has been names as 'Marine A' but Michael le Vell was named despite being found not guilty of child sex charges?

I understand that Marine B and Marine C have gone back to work so I'm guessing they'd rather not be identified. However it seems so unfair that le Vell was named when he wasn't even guilty!!

Mr LeVell will not have a Fatwa (spelling ?) placed upon him . I dare say "Marine A" will be a high priority for the peace loving Islaam community though.

Can't say it sits right with me at all, although I understand that I don't know the full story.

 

Whatever the police or armed force they do they are protected by there own every single time. It's wrong.
High profile people like Sports people, actors.... are in constant danger especially in other countries like Brazil so can't we say when they have done things wrong never mind possibly murdered someone?

If thats true then he should named, shamed and have picture in the public like others.

if you search x actor or footballer in Google you will get often lies about him yet this guys protected.

How dare people in this country talk about the likes of Russia or any country when we have the likes of this and Police officers in the South Yorkshire police not convicted of what they did at Hillsborough....

 

There is no comparison between the levels of danger that a footballer faces compared to that facing a member of the armed forces in places like Afghanistan. And he was charged and convicted so they didn't do a great job of protecting their own did they.
