is this the same Mark Burton who used to be on the books at Oakwell and once told the then Oakwell Review or the Star that he wanted to play for his "beloved Nottingham Forest, but Barnsley would do for now"? This was then published in the old fanzine South Riding, with non-too complementry comments!
the problem with football.... In order to get a job as a chief scout or coach, you need to be an "ex-pro", no matter how sh** or whether you have a clue about scouting or coaching......
