    He was in talks with Barnsley....

    he had a holiday in Cuba and was to resume talks on his return....but Barnsley did not re-contact , so he said bugger it and signed for Oldham..... source....HIS DAD, a personal friend of mine.

    but the fact that the club di not even have the common courtesy to at least make re-contact and ay yea or nay is pure ignorance...I wonder just how many more deals have maybe come off the rails due to this amatuerish approach.
