I think he would strengthen our side as things stand. However, he is not a consistent Championship-standard player. To get a player, to sign you have to offer him at least a couple of years' contract. If we are looking to build a squad capable of challenging in this division in the forseeable future, we do not want to be offering 2-3 year deals to players below that standard.

I would certainly hope we are setting our sights higher than Richards.

 

We need new strikers not players who have had their chance and blown it.

if anthony kay keeps performing like he is doing i reckon a championship club will come in for him, i dont think he's any worse than our current centre backs but we'l never see him back here while davey is in charge imo.

 

Marc Richards - Better than OddJob and Rigters but not good enough for the Championship so no thanks.

Anthony Kay - No thanks. Pissed up arsewipe out getting lashed every night. Doesn't have the commitment or professionalism to play at this level. He may have sorted himself out over in Tranmere but if he was to come back here with the peer pressure from his mates he'd be back on the lash again before his first training session. Me and our lass have just got used to the peace since he moved off the street.
