The editor of Barnsley football Weekly He claimed he was an independent journalist with no connection to the club a good example post is this one here but there are others http://www.barnsleyfc.org.uk/bbs/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=120702&mid=798040#M798040 It seems he was less than honest as he was sent as the club employee to police the interview with Lazarus.
RE: Shush you you really have no idea do you fearners, you in on monday? i'll explain it to you then if you are (Y)
errrrm yes I do. What I said was true, he writes a biased magazine for the football club. I didn't question whether he's told what to put n the magazine or not, I just said it's biased. And you can't say it isn't. I'm working straight after college I think on Monday
RE: errrrm It's independant in terms of producing it. But when it comes to the content there's no way it's independant, I mean have you actually read it? It's clear he has involvement at the club and the club is involved with the magazine to a certain extent. He doesn't give a clear answer to simple questions. And in my own opinion I somehow don't think he paid for the advertising boards at the ground. If he came out and answered all the questions then I'm sure we'd all respect him and believe him. But he hasn't proven himself to be very honest so far.
RE: errrrm well iv only read one or two issues but i know he dont work for the club as my dad knows him
The Chronicle claims that Simon Davey ie the Barnsley FC manager claims that Mark Stokes is a club employee, and lets face it he should know. It has also been confirmed that Mark Stokes was conducting Barnsley FC duties wasn't he with Lazarus?
