Or anyone out of the mould of these two. I've seen Yeates play for Colchester (albeit only on SKY) and he looks the part. He's got reasonable pace, he's creative, hungry to play and above all, has a cultured left foot. He's good enough for the Championship have settled in well when Colchester made a run for the playoffs two seasons ago. We need someone in fast, someone who can create and score from midfield. As well as that, we were linked with Marcus Williams last season. He's a tenacious left back, and again, is a player who is hungry to play. He can get forward, he can tackle and he can cross a ball which used to be something of a bonus, but is now becoming more and more important. If we are to stay in this league, we need to bring in some quality players of reasonable pricing, and I feel these two would fit the bill. Otherwise, come May, we are going to be struggling to stay up and the left wing at Oakwell is going to be a lush, emerald green while the rest of the field is cut up to hell fire.
