keep it going ,he showed his usual pace and power but he showed us that he can finish yesterday, i know its been a long time coming and its only pre season but he seems more positive and confident within himself.
Agreed Like most folk I have criticised him and will again if he reverts back to how poor he has been for most of his time at BFC. I think his performances have warranted plenty of criticism. BUT - I would love for him to prove me and many others wrong. Same goes for Davey if it comes to that. It would also be better for BFC financially if he had a good season because it would be a like getting a new striker without paying a transfer fee.
I think Davey has probably given up on him I read a statement in relation to Andy Gray. He said 'I have 3 strikers at this club in Hume, Bogdanovic and Macken and I need a striker that can link up play'. I dont think we'll see much of KO this year. The extra places on the bench should be used to blood the young lads. KO has had enough chances and taken none of them to warrant any kind of optimism that this year could be his time.
RE: I think Davey has probably given up on him By "linking up play" wonder if he means someone to win some of the aimless long balls that we punted forward last season. The type of which led to Hume being elbowed in the head by Morgan. Also has he got three strikers? Will Hume play again and isnt Macken more of a "linker of play"in a dropping off sort of way than a striker these days? I wouldnt hang too much an anything Davey says. He fancys Oddjob to play a part this season. Dont be mistaken into thinking anything different.
Dont shoot the messenger! Im only quoting Davey. If KO gets to 100 appearances for the reds (If your right that Davey still fancies him) and carries on his goals to games average then he surely has to go down as the worst player to consistently pull on a reds shirt.
RE: Dont shoot the messenger! All that aside, if he puts in some improved performances and bags, say, a dozen goals then he will have gone a long way to improving his record. Cant see it myself like! lol
But didn't he also score a very well taken goal? Not bad 1 out of 2 chances converted.
Surely credit where credit's due?

RE: But didn't he also score a very well taken goal? Agree mate and it was a very good finish. He had plenty to do before he put the ball across the keeper as well.
yes he scored, but he was gangly and ridiculed by the fans, he's a joke figure. he gets a 1 on 1 v weds last minute to save a point or nick all 3 forget it.
RE: yes he scored, but he was gangly and ridiculed by the fans, he's a joke figure. he gets a 1 on 1 So you can see into the future as well eh? The calibre of people that support the Reds is astounding!!
