Shrewsbury keeper Marko Marosi was the subject of discriminatory abuse at Charlton yesterday.

His manager Steve Cotterill believes he should "just let it go if he doesn't want to get targeted" and the abuse "wasn't timely". He says the perpetrator needs educating, it sounds as though he could do with some himself if that's his advice.

Charlton manager Johnnie Jackson essentially said its best not to speculate what happened, which is the stace that Cotterill probably should have taken.

Sounds like it was some idiot assuming he was Russian or something. Well done to Charlton for dealing with it swiftly.
