What a difference to the team he makes

Work rate like no other player .

So glad he's back from injury

With Scowen coming back for the fleetwood game I have no worries we will get to Wembley

This season might turn out ok with a trip to Wembley and a great second half to season

Reasons to be cheerful. Getting Scowen back will be like a new signing. I'm not massively confident about fleetwood tbh. They seem to have become a team we just can't beat..

Marley has been an unsung hero for me. He was leading the assists first half of the season and i suspect he is still in there with Connor. I like his work ethic, how he gets his head down and gets on with it. Importantly he gives us something different, bit more physical and can play wide in a bit of an unconventional winger and also down the middle, closes down consistently and is unselfish in his play. He also holds it up better than most we have. His involvement does more for the team balance, link up and continuity than it does for Marley as an individual and hence why i don't think he gets the credit he deserves.

I like him whens played as a striker, decent foil for Winnall, despite the early assist stats i can't get excited when he's out wide

Fleetwood have the knack of making us play at their tempo which is slow. When we try and up the pace they resort to possession play and make us chase em down which we soon get fed up of.

Had my doubts about him but credit to the lad.

Seems to be slowly adapting to life south of the border.

Great that his injury wasn't as bad as we all thought

I don't think he has done much differently across the season Doc. I just think people are starting to see and value his contribution more. His in/outs over the past few weeks have shown us whether we look better or not with him in.

I think opposite, even tho SSW plays better with him, he is not a striker. If Watkins had put away half the chances he's had, he'd be top scorer by a country mile...
I like him out wide, I do agree at the moment play him up top, purely out of necessity. But be on the lookout for another goal scorer, for when SSW hits another lean spell.
Goals win games and strikers need to score, and not just run round alot

I think he does need to work on his finishing. He has shown some class in front of goal, i.e. Blackpool but not enough. However he makes space for others and sets up a lot of chances. Running around a lot? Well only with a purpose. I guess you could the same about Scowan. I wouldn't but some could.

Not too sure if its sumert you can work on TBH... More of just a knack, sumert that either comes natural or not..

Remember Boggy, Not the best of forwards by a long shot. But knew where the net was..

But as you say, he gets in those positions to score goals. If he wasn't a striker, he wouldn't be getting the opportunities. He's 10 goals short of being the total package but I suppose that's why he's playing in League 1 rather than the championship.

In response to the OP, I don't think Marley's any different to he was back in August. Quality player who I feel gets some very undeserved flack.

Could argue 2 assists for Marley looking at the 10 Min Highlights on Player. Not sure if he actually got a touch on for the first, but definitely made trouble for his marker and simple pass to Sam for him to run through for the second. Unless i missed it, highlights didn't show the offside goal, but by all accounts he was on

I love these extremes. He is either Ronaldo or Robbie Savage.
