    He's been given some severance pay so he may be more negotiable and let's face it footballers will have to start being more realistic with there wage demands at this level

    How come he got released though? Injury prone?

    Jewell signed him when West Brom went up and Derby came down.

    Would have though he'd be in their first team.

    Not sure to be honest - just heard him and Claude Davis had been released and thought it would be a good signing for us

    One of their top earners. Released Roy Carroll too.

    Am I right in thinking their parachute payments have stopped this summer?
