One player who will never be forgotten by us Tarn fans. Was an exciting player to watch in his prime and was a great find by us. Here's wishing him an happy retirement (Y) (Y) (Y) http://www.wycombewanderers.premiumtv.co.uk/page/LatestNews/0,,10430~1303992,00.html
Cant have! He's only about 15!! Seriously, he did well for us and was exciting to watch. Never forget him making a mockery of quite a few "top" defenders in the Premier League season, such as Sol Campbell.
Danny Wilson Speaks Highly Of Him An absolute bargain for 15k off Eastwood Town........... http://www.wycombewanderers.premiumtv.co.uk/page/LatestNews/0,,10430~1304385,00.html
So he does! Although I don't recall being knocked out of the cup by Man Utd. Must have been dreaming when Scott Jones scored to knock them out. I thought I was dreaming at the time, obviously I was right.
You're right but he could only kick a ball as hard as my 7 year old son. How many goals did he score for us? poor championship player.
Poor championship player because he couldn't kick a ball hard! LOL!!! What about that screamer he scored against Oldham(??). I seem to remember him getting more than a fair share of penalties for us, and was part of the promotion winning team to the Premier League. What more could you want? Hendrie, Wilko and Redders got the goals so why should Bully have scored more?
Is he injured? Otherwise why retire "with immediate effect" when they are in the Playoffs.....surely he'd like to bow out with a game at Wembley.
Aye thats a good point. Maybe he found a late holiday deal in the local travel agent and doesn't fancy waiting til the school holidays so he can mingle with the other kids.
think you are all getting a little over excited rose tinted spectacles anyone?? In 8 years with us he played about 200 games and came off the bench almost as many as he started. got 7 goals. 1 a year Yes he was fun to watch, but he made very little impact on the team. Clint was a very similar and much better player than Bully
Ah but I think one of the key things in our promotion season was having both Bully and Clint, similar players and could sub one with the other and keep the pressure on defenders.
Surely he must have been ****? I mean, what did he do after leaving us? Dropped a division or two and stayed there, ergo, rubbish. I think that's how it works anyway. Great to watch and gave us some truly memorable moments - not least not being able to get served in Brownes 'cos the bar staff didn't think he was old enough.
still only looks 12 !! when he put sol campbell on his arse v spurs to set up redders was fantastic....
