I stated a few weeks ago that Bree should be rested and Cranie pushed out to the right and I think we've looked hell of a lot more solid in the past few games since that's happened.

He'd have been playing there at the start of the season if it were me picking the team. I've been told he's not a RB on numerous occasions though. To me he's not a CB.

He's just brought that bit of experience back to the defence in my opinion, just to note I though our 2 centre backs were outstanding yesterday, nyatanga seems to be regaining some of the form we saw 5 year ago

Nyatanga was my MOM (just) yesterday. Dudgeon, Winnall, Bailey and Berry also put a bloody good shift in too.

We've got 4 championship standard defenders playing now & 3 of them have lots of experience & Ramage is a great leader & organiser.

It's no coincidence that we're looking more solid.

It's great having someone like Cranie who can fill in wherever & still put in solid performances

Cranie got done for pace a couple of times but his overall contribution more than makes up for that. Turnbull best keeper for a long long time and I rate him more than Butland
