Looked like we've got a defender who can actually really defend today - strong, won loads of tackles and kept Woolford under complete wraps in the first half. Lovely cross too. Thought Golbourne and Stones did well also, kept Bristol's much vaunted wingers to just a few long range efforts. Stones has great anticipation and pace - he intercepted two passes that he saw before their guys had even dreamt about them - hope he stays long enough for Keefy to get the full education into him and he keeps dedicated, if so he could be playing at the highest levels in 3-5 years time.
Having watched the reds for some time i can say that stones is the best prospect i've seen since david hirst. He is a great player and has a fantastic career head of him, so lets hope that some of it will be for us.
