A Rolls Royce of a player.

Looking forward to Dawson getting in that side - ground out a win that we never would've two months ago.

Thought the formation was wrong all night but we out battled them and kept them under pressure and deserved it. You reds.

Got to praise McNulty. Apart from one sliced clearance he came on and won everything. I reckon we could play him at LCB and Kennedy at LWB.

Agreed, I thought he was quality tonight (as usual).

Agree about the formation. Didn't feel comfortable with it at all. I guess it was a reaction to Golbourne's injury.

In fairness to Flitcroft we did create a lot of chances, but I think a side with more confidence than Wolves may have caused us more trouble. No width and too much pressure on the midfield for my liking. And I think we look a lot more solid at the back with a three.

think it was initially 3-4-3 and forced upon us, but atleast we got a gaffer thats prepared to change things around when he has to. Cranie =class so steady

It was a particularly bizarre formation

I'm not sure what we started with. I thought it was a 4-4-2 with O'Grady wide. Then it seemed to change to a 4-3-3 and then finally a 5-3-2 when McNulty came on. I'd be much happier seeing:

    Steele
    Cranie Foster McNulty
    Delap Etuhu Perkins Kennedy
    Mellis/J'OB
    Harewood Dagnall

    on Saturday. Much more solid.

Agreed. Wolves sat back after the goal and I think Saunders played us a blinder not sticking that winger/Hammill on Wiseman too.

Need someone to help Perkins in the middle.

Agree we looked a little misjointed tonight due to injuries and the formation change.

I don't think Kenedy can play LWB personally though, he aint quick enough for me.

No offence to him cos he's been brilliant lately in the role he has played.

Martin Cranie has been one of Keiths best signings IMO, a class act. So steady and rarely makes a mistake.

In fairness to Keith, he made a lot of good signings. Not world beaters or anything, but very good value for money. Particularly as the money was next to nowt. Just a pity he couldn't get the best out of them or mold them in to a winning team.

Just goes to show how continuity matters. A slight tweak to line up and formation, and we looked under real pressure. Need kelvin back on Saturday. Goldie a big loss, but I think the presence in the middle told more. Boy, how our standards have changed!!
