Behind rammage, holgate, mvoto and nyatanga for centre back and behind holgate, Williams and Bree at right back surely. Come in boat number 6. Your time is up
We've just beat the team at the bottom of the league, who also had a man sent off. Lets not go thinking all our problems are now solved. We were defensively all over the place in the opening twenty/thirty minutes, and they could, and really should've capitalised when 'big Jean' ****** up and let them through on goal.
M'Voto is and always will be a liability. I'd happily see him moved on and off the wage bill. The rest I'd happily keep, and move Cranie out in the Summer if Holgate develops as we hope.
When is Bree back? We never seem to get an injury update on him like we do others. Soon get my big hope for us of Ramage and three academy lads in the back four going forward hopefully. Smith, Ramage, Holgate and Bree.
Last I heard from DW is that they are "wrapping him in cotton wool" for a while to prevent his current niggle damaging his long term development. Could be indefinite.
Wilson said last week they don't want to rush him, and that they've got to take every precaution with his injuries due to growth spurts. I thought Williams looked tidy on the ball today, anyway. Not sure what he's like defensively as we weren't really tested after they went down to ten men.
M'voto won every single header against there big lad and he got a few blocks in, to call him a liability is a bit OTT. Admittedly he has a clanger in him but at least he is dominant for most of the game wheras Crainie looks weak in every game.
He has a clanged in him yet isn't a liability? I don't want to bash him in order to prove a point but did he not make a major **** up in th first half. Against a devent side that could have been a goal and possibly game over again. I agree about Cranie. I feel he has failed to justify his position as captain and highest paid player this season.
I still like him. I still rate him. I still think he's our best defender. I think he will be transferred this month, assuming injuries permit it.
