From Official site BARNSLEY FC expect to complete the signing of winger Martin Devaney from Watford Football Club tomorrow, subject to the player passing a medical at Oakwell. The exciting 25-year-old only signed for the Hornets in the summer after leaving Cheltenham Town but is set to pen a two-year deal at Oakwell. Martin came up through the youth ranks at Coventry City before making the switch to Whaddon Road in July 1999 joining on to make 226 first team appearances for the Robins, netting 43 goals. He played against the Reds in both meetings during the 2002/2003 League One campaign. Martin left Cheltenham in the summer to join up with Championship side Watford and the left winger has agreed a shock switch to South Yorkshire.

I was just thinking the same passing a medical at Oakwell is easier than passing water after 10 pints of ale and passing wind after a tonne of baked beans
