    Free agent apparently. Would love him to sign for us. Would wages be an issue or is a centre half our main priority?

    better then any forward we have on the books at the moment but you get what you pay and we don't have the money to say for the likes of him

    Wonder why they've let him go? I've only ever seen him play against us and he has looked pure quality.

    I very much doubt he's on Barnsley's radar but would be nice to get someone in his mould as opposed to the likes of Jon Stead.

    Burnley's parachute payments are drying up....They probably couldn't offer him a contract that approached owt like he was earning...and this would rule out any chance of us getting him.

    It's been in local press that Huddersfield want him. Then again they wanted Jennings and we actually beat them to a player which we probably have to go a long way back for the last time that happened, so maybe we could get him.

    I think our ability to attract players is improving by the day. We obviously can't compete with some of the money that's being bandied about, but we're already a far more attractive proposition than we were a couple of months ago. I'm very confident that Mansford & Watkins can do the business we need to do.

    Watford won't have to where they are now without bullshiting a few people along the way, the don was too honest and straight up, you need to be sneaky and snidey in this game and i think these two will have it in abundance.

    From what I've heard we beat them to 2 players this week - Robins was very keen on O'Grady but COG only wanted to go to one place.
