    Sorry if this is old news to some, as it was reported a week ago, but I've just read about him being sentenced to a year in prison. But because he's famous he just chucked money at them til they agreed to just fine him half a million quid.

    Why.....

    just to look at it another way. he's a footballer, not a hardened criminal. which is the most cost effective, put him prison at great expense to the tax payer - or take the half a million? it sucks, but i'm not sure landing him nick for a year is helping anyone..

    Actually, in Spain if you're first time offender for it, you dont go to jail, nothing to do with fame or fortune, all he has to do is pay the money back.

    Messi,Neymar now Mascherano. It's the Spanish authorities picking out Barcelona's key players as there's a politics war between Spain and Catalunya
    It's no secret that The Spanish & Catalan governments don't get on & haven't going back 10's of years. Years ago the only place the Catalan people could speak there native tongue was in the Nou Camp
    Your not telling me that these 3 are guilty & the likes of Ronaldo,Ramos, Benzema are innocent

    Surely he pays folk to do all that **** for him so it'd be them at fault even though it was his tax. Dunno like, just saying?!?
