    After reading Fireds post about Oakwell back in the 80's, they mentioned mascots.

    So, how many people on here have had the pleasure of been a mascot at Oakwell??

    I was Vs PLYMOUTH back in 1990 (I think it was)

    When I was about 5 or 6 my Dad worked in Sheffield for HSBC (Midland Bank back then). That meant I could have been mascot for Shef U. I like to think I turned it down as a true red but, deep down, I know it's probably just because i would have soiled myself in front of all those people:pff

    can't remember full team, but still have the match day programme somewhere...

    You telephone a chap called Laurie. Can't find his number at the moment, but the club should help. I rang back in January for the little'un and he was mascot for the Southampton game in August. It was brilliant and he loved it. I suspect the list is probably a lot longer now since we were promoted though.
