As been offered a long term contract with the club, according to this mornings chronicle, from what I saw of him last Friday, it would be a really good signing, ball playing central defender cool and calm 25/35 yard passes, passes with ether foot, instead of just hoofing clear he seems to drop it a yard or two in front of the runner, but the most impressive part of his game last Friday was he as a real sense if danger and knows how to stop it and the root, him and Cowgil never looked like conceding from open play and just controlled the game from the back, I know he was only up against other under 18s but he looks a class above his age group, and he's training with the first team so it would seem Wilson rates him highly,
Him and Cowgill could be our future CB pairing then. Good to see we have a raft of kids coming through who look capable of stepping up.
Left back was good as well scored free kick gave pen away got a yellow card safe to say he was in thick of everything
Matty Tempelton I think his name was, if I didn't go watching first team every week I'd watch them young uns all time, no ******** just football, playing it how it should be, they're at home to Brentford in morning well worth a watch for people with nowt to do
I'd go watch them if I lived near Barnsley. It'd be good to keep tabs on them. 100 mile round trip is a bit excessive for a youth game though.
