    They view themselves as a bigger club than us, Ive never really grasped what makes them come to that outcome but a few stats usually backs them up and makes them quiet.

    Surely only the dumbest amongst them, the majority would see the recent history, attendances, ground, achievements etc. They walk past the set up we have to get into the away end so they'll see the facilities we have, a training complex and academy that's got a full size 3G pitch, indoor pitch, our training pitches even has a stand similar to the size of their stands! We've had all this in place since 1997. They have some park pitches at Cantley. A dad taking his kid to the two to train and pick the best wouldn't take too long to decide.

    Can't honestly remember the last half decent player that they produced. Same goes for Rotherham and the Pigs too. In recent years it just seems to be us and the Blunts producing anything for South Yorkshire.

    If it is £2 million for Jackson five then we've sold over £6 million of talent in the past 3 seasons, not including add ons. It's finally starting to pay off.

    Last year doncaster took young kid who played for Wombwell jfc u11s this kid is incredible

    We missed a real one with him

    Seems they can't grasp that we have an Academy, not a school of Excellence like them

    Also, we have constantly produced professional footballers from it that have gone on to better and worse things, after playing in our first team, or at least been part of the first team squad. I know 1 or 2 Donny fans who still believe the deluded former Chairman John Ryan they are a sleeping giant.
    They had the better of us for a couple of seasons as we struggled in this division last time, but that's about as far as they can go with us.

    IMO an under 11 should never be hailed as such. Until they turn 16/17, you can't really tell, and even then it's a lottery. Look at Nana, was amazing in our academy, but never made it for us.

    Pretty much exactly what I say. Used to love telling them we had more seats at our training ground than they had at Belle Vue.

    However, most still say Oakwells a shithole. I just laugh.
