Were Saturday or Sunday any better

We're camping in a water park near Nothampton

 

Dunno the garage dweller booked it

looked lovely on the pics. No floating caravans or tents or owt

 

If you are going to Billing Aquadrome , then you will have a good time anyway.

nice chippy just outside the park, the one onsite is not shabby either. There is a decent Indian on site too.
Food in Pubs off site good also.
Some lovely boats there too.

He's going stock car racing for the day. I bought him it for his birthday back in Jan

 

There is a funfair and you can have a go

in some big balls that float on the lake.
There is a Pub there called Billing Mill IIRC converted Water mill. There are usually some sort of event there each weekend, car rallies etc.
We bought our first boat from there last year and we had only gone to visit some friends, so be warned anything can happen during a weekend down there.

Had to pack up on Sunday morning in gale force winds and torrential rain in Cornwall. It was an experience trust me. Ended up laughing in all the mud and flapping tent parts.</p>

Just got the tent dry having hung it over the bannisters at my sister's very small flat. It's dry now and ready to pack.</p>

Welcome to UK Camping. You'd never go anywhere if you relied on the forecasts in this country. They are hardly ever right in Cornwall and Devon as the 2 counties seem to have their own area micro climates.</p>

It's not stopped me Fi. I'm off again 10th -14th Aug, this time up near Scarborough. </p>
