Difficult to understand anyone who doesn’t think that at L1 level this is not a decent squad. The coaching and management in terms of basic organisation and development is really something to behold.
But what’s the alternative? (I get - sign better players). I just think digging out the people keeping the doors open is unhelpful.
We’ve been absolute gash, but we’ve also been denied two absolute stonewall penalties in successive games.
Bet there’s plenty of teams who have faced similar calls. We have fallen off a cliff we can’t blame two refs for that.
I’m not blaming the ref for our performances. Not for one second. But I do expect them to do their jobs and get big calls right.
The absolute state of us over the last month or so. We've collapsed like a wet paper bag, both individually and as a team. I've got no idea what's going on with the team, the manager or the club. But they really need to get whatever it is sorted for next season, because this is frankly unwatchable.
The scattergun approach to recruitment, based upon the hope of unearthing gems to be flogged at a profit, has finally caught up with us. Without a major re-think I fear for the future.
I agree, I said I didn’t feel he was the right fit the day he was announced. Seems a lovely guy, but we need a winner.
Have you seen how many terrible refs we have had this season. I’ve given up on them making any right calls anymore.
Do you think they've got value for money from the money invested? We've made £10m of sales last summer. And this is the squad of players we have. Where are the saleable assets in this squad? What happens this summer when we can't prop up the operating losses of inflated wages of abysmal players because they don't have any sale value? If you think this year's team is bad, wait for next year. I agree with you they are well intentioned. But they're hopelessly incompetent, and i'm very wprried about where they will take us in the next couple of years.
